Features

Version 2.5 of FontIncluder Pro Server, the industry-standard application for embedding fonts in EPS and PostScript files, is faster than ever. This major upgrade introduces font caching for faster processing and provides more stringent safeguards on the legality of embedding fonts.

The font caching capabilities in FontIncluder Pro Server 2.5 provide significantly faster processing of files and folders. This is particularly valuable in more intensive environments such as ad agencies and publishers' ad departments. It doesn't just speed up the workflow, it also means that any files that error are identified more quickly, which gives the user time to put things right before the deadline. The applications embed Type 1, Single and Multiple Master, Type 3, and TrueType fonts into EPS, PostScript, and all types of DCS files.

FontIncluder Pro Server 2.5 uses watched-folder technology to give completely automated, handsfree processing and can optionally either process individual files (file mode), project or job-bag folders (project mode), or complete directory hierarchies (hierarchy mode). It can also embed Windows fonts on the Macintosh and vice versa.

FontIncluder Pro Server 2.5 now also takes into account each vendors' policy on the embedding of fonts. It does so by following the practice adopted by Adobe Distiller 4.05.

The issue of legal font use has been a major concern, particularly among the larger newspaper and magazine publishers. They need to know that they are legally in the clear — FontIncluder Pro Server 2.5 gives the user just that assurance.
