SecureX XTreme

Features

SecureX XTreme (or SXXT for short) is a new XTensions module for QuarkXPress 4, 5, and 6 for both Mac and Windows platforms (replaces SecureX). SXXT requires FormsX.

SXXT enables the user to create the highest-quality voids and security screens with all new benefits.

Features:

• worry-free RIP settings (no special queue needed);

• compatible with any imaging device — from inkjet printer to platesetter;

• compatible with previously unsupported RIPs from Creo/Scitex and Rampage;

• compatible with PDFs (this was previously impossible); and

• export to EPS and place it in any other desktop-publishing application.

There is no change to the user interface when SecureX XTreme is present. The difference is in the information sent to the output device. In the past, SecureX could not be used in any way with Creo/Scitex and Rampage systems due to the unchangeable way they process halftones. SecureX also could not be used with PDF workflows due to the nature of PDF and halftones. With the release of SecureX XTreme, it is now compatible with every imaging system (even non-PostScript systems).
